Old Friends & New

Chloe, Kayla & I went to Caden's 3rd Bithday Party today! Caden's Mommy is Brandi, who is expecting one more, YAY! Darlyn is holding her son Dylan, who was born prematurely but is now a healthy and active 2 year old, YAY! And then there is me, with the girls. Brandi, Darlyn and I have been friends since Middle School (Darlyn and I since Elementary School). Our kids are all around the same age and it is very exciting to see them play together. God is AWESOME and you really get to feel Him when you are with fabulous old friends and great kids. Today was a FUN day!

Moving...Again

Sorry that this blog ended up backwards...it was suppose to start with the move, then Chlo Chlo and finally Kayla. Oh-well, hopefully I will figure out this blogging thing before the girls are in their 40s!

Kayla loves her bath time! Warm water can make our crying 6 month old into a happy baby! She still hasn't rolled over, but I cannot say that it bothers me and I also cannot say that I have done anything to remedy this. BUT, she can now sit on her own! This just started a couple of days ago and as you can see she is PROUD! Chloe decided to dress her up...she isn't a fan of dressing up like her big sissy :o). I LOVE LOVE LOVE her smiles. She can make a gray day sunny with her toothless grin, just ask anybody that has seen it.

We had just a few rainy days... Rainy days with a 2 year old... Chloe played in the rain and then watched a TON of tv- I am really working on getting rid of that addiction and finally did some ground art. I thought she did pretty good! Yesterday I registered her for preschool. I almost cried while standing in line. I just thought today it is preschool tomorrow high school. My baby is growing up too fast. She will begin this fall at the preschool offered through our church.

As many of you know, we are currently renting. The home that we are renting right now is being taken back by the owners because they have lost their jobs due to this wonderful economy. This has put a tremendous amount of stress on all 4 of us. Cesar and I have been going crazy trying to find someplace to move and the girls are upset to see their things in boxes. All is getting better, we found a small early 1900s house in a nice part of Riverside, single story, with 4 VERY small rooms and a VERY small kitchen. We had to purchase a "counter top" dishwasher because the house only offers a kitchen sink for cleaning dishes!
