The Past 9 Months!

Wow, how time flies. I can remember just 9 months ago (almost) I was preparing myself to leave Chloe over night (2 nights to be exact) with her Attie (Aunt Allison) so that I could go and have Kayla. The thought of leaving my baby made my heart ache. Then when Chloe's Attie, brought her to pick Kayla, Cesar, and I up from the hospital; the look that Chloe gave me when I was putting Kayla into the car scared me. She kept saying "No Momma" and pointing from Kayla to the hospital, basically saying take her back. These past 9 months have taught both Chloe and I a lot. Chloe has learned to be the most loving and gentle big sister Kayla could ever ask for. She shows her how to play with toys and has even had a tea party or two with her. I have learned how to be patient when I have two babies crying or two babies that are sick and both need 110% of me. I have learned to smile when they are being sweet and give the "mean mom" look when they arent. I have learned that no matter what life dishes out they will always be my number one, and that my love for them will continue to grow.
In the past week Kayla has taken the first steps to crawling. She goes from a sitting position, to a leaning position, and crawls her arms out as far as she can before she falls flat on her tummy...we are practicing. She has also cut her first batch of teeth! She is absolutely perfection...which is her nickname.

Chloe has finally learned how to ride her tricycle! We have had a major case of June gloom in Riverside which has given us a great opportunity to spend a lot of time outside. She goes back and forth, up and down, the cement area in our backyard. It is toooo cute! Cesar and I had all but given up on her ever riding the darn bike!

So, as you can see things are great at the Pulido house....we count out blessings daily and thank God for all that he has given us!
