The girls have a love for the Polar Express movie and book. So, when I heard that there was a Polar Express train ride in Williams, AZ, I knew we HAD to go! It was the first time for the girls and I to go to Arizona (Cesar went to school there). Once hitting the border you really got to see God's work. The scenery was BEAUTIFUL...until you needed to pee and there was NO place to stop and use a restroom.
The girls had a fabulous time drinking hot chocolate, eating cookies, and singing CHRISTmas carols with other Polar Express fans! Oh, and of course, they LOVED seeing Santa, too!

Easter Festivities
For the second year in a row, we hosted Easter at our house. A lot of thought went into this year's menu. First I was thinking that I would do finger sandwiches and scones but then I remembered I was having family over...
Menu:
Ribs (Thank you Dad), Chicken, Pulled Pork Sandwiches with Avocadoslaw (Thank you Paula Deen- recipe), Potato Salad, Fruit (Thank you Mom), Cake Pops, Chocolate Dipped Pretzels, Lemonade, Margaritas and a TON of Candy!

Chloe the Little Slugger
As if dance didn't keep her busy enough...Chloe is now a T-Baller! She plays on the Texas Rangers. Most of the time you can find her practicing her tap moves on third base "cause it sounds good." She is having a blast until it starts making her thirsty- that's my girl. She has really connected with 3 of the coaches. They are taking GREAT care of her since she is both the youngest kid on the team and one of two girls on the team! She is LOVING it- I'd rather be at the dance studio but will deal with it until June!
The Pulido Farm
The Pulido Farm keeps growing!
I have wanted to get a couple hens to have in our yard for a while now. I wanted to use them as tools to teach the girls about where food comes from- eggs of course! With Spring here (now) I decided it would be a good time to try it out. Of course at this age, you can't tell the sex, BUT, fingers crossed, we have atleast 2 girls. (Cesar wants to kill me :o))
