Halloween was a fun treat for the family. Cesar celebrated by getting a vasectomy- is that a trick or a treat? The girls and I went trick or treating at Papa and Uncle Jason's work and then at church for trunk or treat, with Attie and Tommy. Chloe and Kayla each dressed up as lady bugs. Unfortunately with us living in southern California the weather was a bit hot and Kayla was either miserable or asleep the whole time. Chloe had her face painted red with black spots but by the time we reached church her black spots were black lines because she just couldn't keep her hands away! And this is when Chloe found out how truly blissful candy is...
Chloe is working on her vocabulary saying "ho ho ho" and "sata" (Santa) among many other things. She is being a great big sister giving Kayla hugs and kisses often.
Kayla is holding her head up for a good amount of time now and she doesn't always have her hands in fists anymore. Her smiles are AMAZING!
We never realized how truly we were blessed until we had our girls and we thank God everyday for the opportunity he has given us to be their parents.
